Student Activities

Social Impact Club
The Public / Nonprofit Club is one of the oldest and largest clubs at Kellogg. Recently students have broadened the scope of the club to include students with interests in education, arts, the environment and socially responsible business. Operating under a large organizational umbrella, students voted to rename the club — Social Impact Club — to reflect these different interests.

In addition to organizing the fall-quarter Speakers class and the spring- quarter annual conference, the Social Impact Club sponsors various events and activities throughout the school year. Typically, the club is led by several co-leaders and operates through various committees which includes full-time and summer job leads as well as an academic committee which assists with course planning. Elections for officials are generally held in the early spring when planning begins for the next academic year.

Typically, first-year students plan and organize the conference which is held at the Kellogg School and is open to nonprofit practitioners in the Chicago area.
