What attracted you to the SEEK Program? If you graduated from Kellogg prior to SEEK being offered as a major, what drew you to courses relating to CSR, social responsibility or nonprofit management?

My plan was university administration so the Public Non Profit (PNP) program at Kellogg was ideal. Through it I learned a lot about running NGO's and educational entities.

What attracted you to the Public Non Profit (PNP) Club, Students for Responsible Business (SRB) Club or Social Impact Club (SIC)?

The PNP club was peopled by all my friends and classmates from the PNP major. We had similar values about societal contributions for our careers and used the club as a vehicle for support.

What value did you get from your experiences with the SEEK Program, or in courses relating to CSR, social responsibility or nonprofit management at Kellogg?

The courses were particularly relevant to my career goals.

How have those experiences been helpful to you in your daily life, both professionally and personally?

Not only did I secure knowledge but gained a network and ultimately a position at Kellogg. I learned both in the classroom at Kellogg and in the deans office. My 6 years at Kellogg, one of the finest examples of administrative success was invaluable to my future career.

What is the name of your current organization, and what does your organization do?

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School, I am associate Dean and Adjunct Professor.

Please briefly describe your position or role at your organization.

I oversee 8 masters degree programs and sit on the strategic planning committee for the school and contribute to university administration through various university committees. I also teach MBA courses for the management department in the leadership area.

How are you applying the skills/knowledge you learned at Kellogg in your career?

In most aspects of my career and outside activity. I serve on the board of several NGOs and am incoming chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong.
