Bradford J. White
Senior Vice President - The Habitat Company LLC

Brad White is Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development with The Habitat Company LLC, one of the nation’s premier developers and managers of residential apartments and condominiums. Habitat has developed more than 25,000 residences and currently manages more than 18,000 apartments and condominiums.

Prior to joining Habitat in 2008, Brad served as vice president of Related Midwest LLC, where he was responsible for the acquisition, financing and development of affordable and market-rate housing. He managed the development of several notable multi-family properties, including a 58-story, 359-condominium high rise in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood and the residential component of CityNorth, a 140-acre mixed-use development in northeast Phoenix. Brad also oversaw the $700 million redevelopment of ABLA Homes, a mixed-use development comprising 2,400 mixed-income residences on Chicago’s West Side. Previously, Brad provided development consulting and project management services to owners of real estate, including notfor- profit organizations, developers, institutional users, and local government agencies. Also, he has significant experience in public policy issues surrounding historic preservation, affordable housing, economic development, and land use regulations.

Brad is president of the Ely Chapter of Lambda Alpha International and serves on the board of the Illinois Housing Council. He has served as President of Landmarks Illinois (previously known as Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois) and Chair of Preservation Action.

White holds a law degree from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
