Research Projects

The following information will provide a brief outline on how to submit your group project to the GIM Office as well as rules governing student participation in outside publications. For more detailed information please refer to the links provided.

Project Due Date:

  • Deliver no later than April 25th, 2008.
  • Submit two (2) paper copies (one to your Advisor, one to the GIM Office)
  • Email one (1) electronic copy to gim@kellogg.northwestern.edu and one (1) to your faculty advisor.

Project Template (Word doc 56 KB / 11 pages) - Guide for writing your GIM project, including format and paper components. All projects must adhere to the specifications as outlined in the template.

Archive Project List (Excel 118 KB) - You can also download a document that lists all project titles from 1994-2007. If there are any you would like to view, simply email the GIM Office.

Publishing A GIM Project

If you would like to be considered for any future GIM publications the additional requirements listed below must be met.

  • Student Publishing Agreement (PDF 48.3 KB / 2 pages) - Each contributing author must sign this publishing agreement in order to be eligible for publication. Without the prior consent of all contributors, the project will not be eligible for consideration.
  • Tables and Figure Specifications - All images, tables and figures used in a paper must have the source information clearly marked.
  • Photographs - All photographs used in the project must be provided to the GIM Office in one of three formats: slides or in digital format (300dpi). If these photos are not your own, you must provide contact information for permission purposes.
