Participating Schools

The Kellogg School currently has an affiliation with the following international programs:

EDDE School of Management Buenos Aires, Argentina

  • EDDE School of Management, the graduate academic unit of the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), opened its doors in 2003. Its mission is to train and shape the most effective and accountable managers in Argentina. The School currently has more than 300 graduate students and is distinguished by its academic rigor, practical relevance and state-of-the-art facilities.
  • "Managing Latin America, Business Orientation" is a full-quarter seminar, designed to help students gain a deeper understanding of the Latin-American region. The program, delivered in English, runs from January 18th to March 13th. Participants can obtain academic credits for the equivalence of three (3) courses. By the end of the program students are required to work on the valuation of a local company.
  • Other 2nd-year MBA students, coming from U.S., E.U. and Australian graduate schools, are allowed to attend the seminar. The class also includes local alumni from the participating schools and current EDDE graduate students. Class attendance is mandatory.
  • Buenos Aires is the most important, attractive and dynamic city of Argentina, and perhaps one of the most in the region. Its blend of cultural activity, historical buildings and tourism presence gives it a flavor of uniqueness in South America. The Latino charm is accompanied by an exquisite gastronomic offering, and surrounded by a privileged weather, especially during summer.

The London Business School – London, England

  • A cultural melting-pot of 1,000 graduate students beginning of 2005. 85% of the students are from outside Great Britain and come from over 70 countries.
  • Renowned, internationally diverse faculty. Famous Finance faculty, including Richard A. Brealey, author of Principals of Corporate Finance (Brealey & Myers), Andrew Scott.
  • Broad elective choice (with both group and individual work) emphasizing applying theories in practice.
  • Age and experience profile slightly higher than Kellogg's.
  • Located in central London, (Regent's Park). (Tremendous opportunity to interact with the business.

RSM Erasmus University - Rotterdam, The Netherlands

  • Fifteen-month MBA program in general management; emphasis on international business.
  • Has most international student body of all MBA’s according to BusinessWeek. Class 2006: 3% Dutch, 38% Rest of Europe, 21% North and South American, 37% Asian, 4% Middle east & Africa. Internationally diverse faculty.
  • Among European leaders in focusing on corporate social responsibility in teaching and research. All courses conducted in English (lot of group work in multi-cultural/functional teams and case studies).
  • First semester of second year (exchange period) consists of electives concentrating on European and international business issues, in 3 career concentrations: finance, marketing and strategy.
  • The incoming exchange students become alumni from our school and they get a lifetime RSM email address. They also get full access to the CMC Services and Resources.
  • RSM is located in the heart of Europe, travel in the Netherlands is made easy by excellent public transport networks that extend into countries like Germany, Belgium, France, or even further Italy and Spain. Rotterdam is only 45 minutes away from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Copenhagen School of Economics and Business Administration - Copenhagen, Denmark

  • Students may select courses from the extensive international program taught by Danish and international faculty members.
  • A popular course is the Integrated Management and Marketing (APIM) which covers various functional business areas from an international perspective and includes company presentations and tours of Danish businesses.
  • A high proportion of international students; social events held to unite the student body.
  • Courses conducted in English; no language requirements.

HEC School of Management - Jouy En Josas, France

  • Founded in 1969, one of the oldest and most highly recognized MBA programs in Europe.
  • Courses conducted in English and French.
  • Average age 29 with 5 years work experience.
  • 50% international students.
  • International program which remains influenced by its European culture.
  • 300 acre campus near Paris.

IESE Business School, University of Navarra – Barcelona, Spain

  • Bilingual 19-month MBA program founded in conjunction with Harvard emphasizing the case method.
  • Second-year electives available in English and Spanish.
  • Spanish language courses also taught prior to beginning of quarter in mid-August.
  • Over 70% international students with faculty from 11 nationalities.
  • Ranked as 4th best European business school in FT.
  • Personal atmosphere (210 students per year), small campus, located in the heart of Barcelona and Spain.

Otto Beisheim School of Management – Koblenz, Germany

  • Private, American-style MBA program founded in 1984 with high-level support from the German business community.
  • Courses have group and individual work and a very international perspective.
  • Reasonable proficiency in German helpful; 75% of the courses are offered in English.
  • German and other language courses available to exchange students.
  • Class size 10-90 maximum.
  • Active student body organizes numerous activities for exchange students.

Sasin Graduate School of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University - Bangkok, Thailand

  • American-style MBA program started in affiliation with Kellogg and Wharton in 1982.
  • A good portion of the coursework is taught by visiting professors from Kellogg and Wharton.
  • Curriculum very similar but more limited than Kellogg.
  • Program is conducted in English.

Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration - Bergen, Norway

  • Students participate in the Master's Program in International Business (MIB).
  • Class size small (30-40) with highly international orientation.
  • Majority of faculty staff have PhDs from international universities.
  • Program conducted in English, no language requirement.

SDA Bocconi, the business school of Universita’ Commerciale Luigi Bocconi - Milan, Italy

  • Bilingual MBA program; 140 students, half of which are International students from about 30 countries.
  • Includes an in-company project with Italian and European companies, as well as 2 Focuses (to chose between electives grouped in the following areas: Managerial Accounting, Innovation Finance, Strategy, Risk Management, Investment Banking, Marketing, International Business, Operations and Organization).
  • Reasonable proficiency in Italian preferred, particularly if you are interested in the in-company project. Most of the class activities are held in English; however, Italian language courses offered.

Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales - Sydney, Australia

  • Six-quarter program similar in structure to Kellogg.
  • 50% international students.
  • 80% have 3-5 years work experience (ranges from 0-10 years).
  • Total enrollment of 100 students per year, 20 exchange students.
  • Small class size (20-60).

Graduate School of Business Administration, Keio University - Yokohama, Japan (near Tokyo)

  • Business school established in 1984, started MBA program in 1979. One of the most recognized business schools in Japan.
  • All classes during Fall Quarter are taught in Japanese.
  • Five courses in English offered Winter Quarter. (Courses in Japanese are also available.)
  • About two thirds of the curriculum applies the case method.
  • Total enrollment of 200.

School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University - Beijing, China

  • Established in 1993, situated on several former royal gardens of the Qing Dynasty.
  • 340 full-time MBA students.
  • Students from different cultures gather in the same classes and have more opportunities to participate in International exchange programs.

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology - Kowloon, Hong Kong

  • Founded in 1991 in cooperation with UCLA Graduate School of Management, EMBA partner with KSM.
  • Ranked 1st for MBA Program in Asia by Financial Times 2001, 2002, 2003.
  • All classes taught in English; size of class usually 30-50 students.
  • Some day classes taught on campus; some night classes in Central financial district of Hong Kong.
  • Most classes meet once a week, most on Saturday, so many students have internships.
  • 100 full-time, 280 part-time student. 21% International; 75% non-local students.
  • Program is International perspective with China Business focus (Asia-Pacific focus) Financial Service or Info Tech Management.
  • International diverse faculty of world class quality.

Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) - Cergy-Pontoise, France (suburb of Paris)

  • The first French Management School to evolve its “Grande Ecole Program” into an MBA.
  • Business courses are offered in French and in English/Possibility of doing the MBA entirely in English.
  • Strong relationship with business/First French management school that developed a work-study program. About 1/3 of the students are having a half-time job ("apprentissage").
  • International orientation: development of an international research faculty, exchange programs in 64 Countries. The European MBA program, double-degree program.
  • Six quarter system similar to Kellogg.
  • The first school in North America accredited by the American School and College Accreditation Board.

India School of Business - Hyderabad, India

  • All classes taught in English by visiting professors
  • 130 students
  • Focus on technology, entrepreneurship, emerging markets, strategic marketing and analytical finance.
  • 12-month program.

Pontificia Universidad Catolica De Chile - Santiago, Chile

  • 4090 international MBA students.
  • One of the most recognized business schools in Latin America; located in Chile which has had unprecedented growth in the last decade.
  • Courses conducted in Spanish.
  • Exchange students chose elective courses from multiple areas of Business Administration.
  • May take courses in Executive MBA Program.

University of St. Gallen for Business Administration, Law and Social Sciences - St. Gallen, Switzerland

  • Located in Eastern (German speaking) part of Switzerland, 80 km from Zurich.
  • 5,000 students in university.
  • International study program (ISP) 3-month program, taught in English, designed for international MBA students focusing on International Management.

University of Cape Town, The Graduate School of Business - Cape Town, South Africa

  • 20-70 students per class
  • A broad range of electives are available in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Operation Management, Sustainability and Organizational Behavior
  • Students can elect to de a Consulting Project with a small Business in Cape Town-equivalent to 4 credits
  • On average courses meet three times a week for two hours each
  • The Waterfront is on the university’s doorstop, Cape Town’s famous Table Mountain overlooks the School
