Martti Kulvik, Project Manager at The Research Institute of the Finnish Economy, and clinical researcher at the Department of Neurology, Helsinki University Central Hospital, Helsinki, Finland. He is a research scholar working on three main projects: 1. Recovering accrued intellectual capital from failing companies -have we overlooked valuable assets? 2. Modelling the effects of IT on healthcare processes: the US and Finland. 3. Can decision making modeling be used to define optimal parameters in introducing new healthcare technology?
Giuseppe Turchetti, Professor in Economics and Management at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (SSSA), Pisa, Italy. He is a Fulbright scholar and is working on Innovation, Value, Sustainability and Equity: The Difficult Trade-offs of Health care Systems. The main objective of the project is to understand the cross-national valuation of technological innovation in health care.
