Health at Kellogg

Welcome to Health at Kellogg.

This new Kellogg School initiative coordinates and promotes groundbreaking education, research and outreach in both the services and products side of the health sector. Interest in the health sector permeates the Kellogg School. Health at Kellogg brings together two separate programs, each with a rich tradition of excellence. The Health Industry Management Program is celebrating its 65th anniversary of training students interested in careers in the traditional areas of health services. The younger Center for Biotechnology emphasizes medical product innovation. Students seeking careers in the health industry may now complete the Health Enterprise Management major, which combines courses that emphasize the common academic foundations of the health services and health products sectors with a wide range of courses focused on each sector.

Health at Kellogg also promotes research by faculty throughout the Kellogg School, by disseminating this work, coordinating data bases, sponsoring research seminars and conferences, and supporting doctoral students. The ideas emanating from Health at Kellogg faculty help transform health management and policy. Health at Kellogg faculty are frequently asked to consult with leading organizations in the public and private sectors as well as design and deliver custom education programs to industry executives.

Biotechnology + Health Industry Management = Health at Kellogg. By combining the school's longtime research strength in health products and service, Health at Kellogg creates a single powerful platform to explore this dynamic field.
