Greg Jones '92

Greg Jones is a Partner of Edgewater Growth Capital Partners. Prior to joining Edgewater, Greg was CEO of uBid, Inc., which he built to over $500 million in annual revenues. Greg led uBid through a highly successful IPO and subsequent sale for over $400 million. Prior to uBid, Greg was SVP of APAC Teleservices, Inc., which grew during his tenure from $100 million to $275 million and was the top IPO for Merrill Lynch in 1996. From 1990-1995, Greg was President and COO, for Reliable Corporation of Chicago, an Edgewater I portfolio company. Greg began his career with Ernst & Young.

Greg has received many business leadership awards including: State of Michigan Leadership Award, the 1999 Ernst & Young and KPMC Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, 1999 Crain's Chicago Business 40 Most Influential People Under 40 Business List and is an inductee into the University of Illinois at Chicago's Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.

Greg received his B.S. from Miami University, Ohio, and earned his MBA. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
