Spark Biotech Inc. win Venture Competition

Winners! Bobby Koritala (TMP '05) and his team of entrepreneurs at Spark Biotech, Inc. won the McGinnis Venture Competition and elevator pitch on March 12, 2005 at Carnegie Mellon University. Cash prizes and in-kind services exceeded $66,000. Spark Biotech is focused on developing novel platform technologies for the oral delivery of proteins, peptides and other macromolecular drugs such as insulin and human growth hormone. Spark Biotech won the inaugural KICK Business Plan Competition in June, 2004. Congratulations!
