Sign up for the "Kellogg on New Directions in Management" special one-time entrepreneurship educational event. Kellogg on New Directions in Management is an executive education program designed exclusively for Kellogg alumni. This two-day program, held annually at the James L. Allen Center, will provide you with new insight into today’s key managerial challenges as well as a chance to re-connect with fellow Kellogg School alumni and faculty. Kellogg on New Directions in Management will give you the skills you need to stay ahead while re-igniting your passion for new management thinking.

The theme of this year’s program is “Entrepreneurial Success.” Learn from distinguished Kellogg School faculty members Steve Rogers, Cheryl Mayberry-McKissack, Craig Bradley, Barry Merkin and others about tools and strategies that will help you become a successful entrepreneur. Topics addressed during this year’s session will include:

  • The Entrepreneurial Spectrum
  • Entrepreneurial Selling
  • Equity and Debt Financing
  • Legal Issues for High-Growth Entrepreneurs
  • Buying a Distressed Company
  • Business Plans and Business Pitches
  • Drivers of Value Creation

Fee: Fee: $ 1,250

The fee includes tuition, program materials, accommodations for two nights and all meals, coffee breaks, and receptions. Classes will be held at the James L. Allen center on Northwestern University's Evanston Campus.

Dean Emeritus Donald P. Jacobs accepted the Master Entrepreneur award at the 5th Annual Kellogg Alumni Entrepreneur Conference, May 29, 2008. Dean Dipak Jain, Professor Steven Rogers, Olin School of Business Dean Emeritus Stuart Greenbaum, five distinguished professors, 25 panelists and 250 attendees, including alumni, students and guests all celebrated the occasion. The Financial Times ran a story about the NBA High Growth Entrepreneurship program.

The NBA Players Association in partnership with the Levy Institute hosted NBA players for the High-Growth Entrepreneurship program in July 2008. Read the recap.

Dean Dipak C. Jain and Patrick G. Ryan '59 received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award in the "Supporter" category during a gala event in Chicago, June 2008.

Steve Rogers was inducted into the Minority Business Hall of Fame. May, 2008
