Dean

Sally Blount '92 was named dean of the Kellogg School in 2010, where she is also the Michael L. Nemmers Professor of Management and Organizations. Prior to joining Kellogg, she served as dean of the undergraduate college and vice dean of New York University's Stern School of Business. Before that, she was a faculty member at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Faculty Deans

Kathleen Hagerty joined the Kellogg dean's office as senior associate dean of faculty and research in September 2016. She also serves as the Faculty Director of the PhD Program. Hagerty, who holds the First Chicago Professorship in Finance, has been a faculty member at Kellogg since 1984.
Therese McGuire was named senior associate dean of curriculum & teaching in 2014. She holds the ConAgra Food Research Professorship in Strategic Management and is the director of the Guthrie Center for Real Estate Research.
Holly Raider was named associate dean of academic and faculty initiatives in 2016. She also serves as the managing director of executive education and clinical professor of management.

Administrative Leaders

Bernard (Bernie) Banks was named associate dean for leadership development of the Kellogg School in 2016, where he is also a clinical professor of management. Bernie brings more than 25 years of leadership and management experience in diverse organizations. He retired from the Army as a brigadier general in 2016 after having successfully led West Point's Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership from 2012-2016.
Carole Cahill is executive director for the Office of the Dean. Since joining Kellogg, she has held a variety of roles focused on human resources and facilities management.
Paul Christensen is associate dean for executive education. Prior to joining Kellogg in 2008, he was the founder and president of ShoreCap International Ltd., a $28 million private equity company, which invests in financial institutions in developing countries. He is also a clinical professor of finance and senior advisor for global strategy.
Andrea Ford is the managing director, academic operations. She joined Kellogg in 2013 and brings more than 15 years of experience in program management, organizational structure analysis and process improvement.
Will Garrett '90 is chief operating officer. Will joined Kellogg in 2012. Before Kellogg, he worked in McKinsey & Company's Chicago office for 17 years as a partner advising the leadership of major global corporations in strategy, growth and change management.
Greg Hanifee, associate dean of executive MBA programs, directs the Evanston and Miami EMBA programs and Kellogg's Global EMBA Network. He brings to Kellogg more than 25 years of international management experience in telecommunications, consulting and higher education. Most recently he was assistant dean of executive programs at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Raghu Katakam joined Kellogg as chief information officer in 2012. Prior to joining Kellogg, he served as a director in Microsoft's Enterprise Technology Strategy Program and spent more than a decade at Baxter Healthcare, where he held various IT leadership roles of progressively increasing responsibility.
Wendy Kritt '84 is chief marketing officer and head of Alumni Relations. She joined Kellogg in 2016, and brings 30 years of experience in consumer packaged goods marketing and marketing services leadership. In her most recent position at the Kraft Heinz Company, she led the Consumer Relations, Brand Activation, Social Media and Culinary teams.
Matthew Merrick is associate dean of MBA operations. Most recently, he served as executive director business analytics and full-time MBA programs, and senior associate dean at Wake Forest University School of Business. He has many years of experience in higher education, with a focus on MBA program growth and graduate placement outcomes, and a background in top-level recruitment and talent acquisition.
Amanda Samuels joined Kellogg as chief communications officer in 2013. She brings more than 18 years of experience in key marketing and communications roles within corporations and as a consultant for a range of industries.
Michael Stone joined Kellogg as chief of staff for the Dean’s Office in 2016, bringing more than 20 years of legal counsel and leadership experience. Previously he served in various roles at state and county entities, including chief of staff at the Illinois Tollway and chief deputy assessor and chief executive officer of the Cook County Assessor’s Office. Prior to that, he was an attorney in private practice.
Anise Wiley-Little joined Kellogg as chief human capital and diversity officer in 2014. She brings more than 20 years of experience in developing and executing human resources and diversity & inclusion strategies for a wide range of organizations and sectors.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Ziegler is chief innovation officer – education and technology. Before joining the Kellogg School in 2011, she served as a principal in McKinsey & Company's Chicago office where she led the firm's Life Insurance Operations and Technology practice and co-led its Financial Institutions Operations and Technology practice.
