Going Global

Read more about the Global Elective Requirement

Kellogg students and faculty have always been keenly aware of global markets, politics, governments and cultures — and the challenges and rewards of global business.

With a recent update to its curriculum, the Kellogg School confirmed what its global network has known all along: A Kellogg education prepares students to lead anywhere and everywhere. In addition to core courses in marketing, finance, leadership and economics, all Kellogg students will take at least one course with a global focus.

To satisfy this global curriculum requirement, students have several course options. Among these, they may learn to work more effectively with partners all over the world in Cross-Cultural Negotiation, sell an idea in Global Marketing, hone their strategic skills in International Business Strategy, explore the complexity of International Finance, or solve real-world problems on any of six continents in the fully immersive Global Initiatives in Management.
