Todd Warren
Former Corporate Vice President of Mobile Communications Product Group
Microsoft
Mr. Warren worked for Microsoft for over 21 years in a variety of product management, general management, and product development roles. He was a corporate vice president from 2002 to 2008. From 2004 until 2008, Todd was responsible for the development and technical product strategy for Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system and related products. Under Mr. Warren’s leadership, his team delivered 3 major releases of Windows Mobile, including the current version in market, Windows Mobile 6.1, and directed the development and strategy of upcoming windows mobile releases and related products and services. During his tenure, his group delivered more than 100 Windows Mobile powered handsets to the market with more than 20 handset manufacturers operating on over 100 mobile networks representing over 18 million devices annually. Prior to his role in Windows Mobile, Mr. Warren directed Microsoft’s device efforts in the Automotive and Media space and managed its mapping business unit responsible for the release of maps.live.com. Mr. Warren also had key roles in Microsoft’s server applications group, Windows, and led the unit that produces Microsoft Project. Todd retired from Microsoft in February 2008 and is currently an adjunct professor in computer science at Northwestern’s McCormick school of engineering teaching software product design.
Todd joined Microsoft after completing a BA with Honors in Computer Science and Economics at Northwestern University. At Northwestern he also serves on a number of advisory boards in multiple areas of the University. He is also a trustee of Ashesi University, and educational “startup” in Accra, Ghana.

Gary Koerper
Vice President of Engine Systems, Mobile Devices
Motorola
As Vice President of Engine Systems, Gary manages the innovation engine for Motorola’s silicon and systems development. His responsibilities include IPR development, standards engagements, systems architecture, silicon and software engineering, business development and product management across integrated 2G, 3G and 4G platforms.
Prior to Motorola, Gary headed Product Management for QUALCOMM’s MediaFLO group, where he ran business development and marketing activities for the company’s mobile TV broadcast effort. Gary was part of the original leadership team that defined the MediaFLO strategy, product and service offering, in addition to driving spectrum acquisition and system creation.
Gary holds an MBA and Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from MIT, a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a certificate in Liberal Arts from Nanzan University in Japan.

Derek Kuhn
Vice President of Emerging Technology & Media

Derek Kuhn is Vice President of Emerging Technology & Media for Alcatel-Lucent and is based in Canada at Alcatel-Lucent’s Ottawa, Ontario Campus. As a global business lead, Mr. Kuhn is responsible for next generation user experience and partnership ecosystem surrounding emerging technologies like 4G mobile connectivity and wireline broadband.
Mr. Kuhn was VP Strategy of the Americas Region in the office of the CTO/CMO and led business and technology strategy across all lines of Alcatel-Lucent products and services.
Mr. Kuhn holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.

Jayanthi Rangarajan

Jayanthi Rangarajan is the president of Novarra, a wireless software company that is revolutionizing the monetization of new mobile internet-based services via its Vision™ mobile web platforms. Jayanthi has been intimately involved in the shift in the wireless industry over the last few years regarding mobile internet, advertising and video, as well as client vs. server, and Smartphone vs. mass-market successes. Jayanthi brings a breadth of mobile expertise and wealth of operator and content provider perspectives.
Jayanthi has 15+ years of wireless voice & data communications experience in product development, global deployment, business development and marketing. Jayanthi is proficient in several languages and has worked in Europe, Asia and the Americas. She holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Chuck Dietrich
Vice President and General Manager
Salesforce Mobile
Chuck Dietrich is Vice President and General Manager, Salesforce Mobile, which mobilizes Salesforce CRM, custom, and Force.com applications so that mobile professionals are always connected to their critical information. Dietrich has been with the company since 2000 where he also built salesforce.com’s consulting and marketing alliances program.

Stéphane Maes
Vice President of Smartphone Product Management
Palm
Stéphane is responsible for leading the definition and execution of the company’s smartphone product roadmap. His team is the primary product-management interface to Palm sales, operations and engineering.
Stéphane has held a variety of product-management positions at the company, including product line manager for wireless handhelds, director of product management for handhelds, and senior director of product management for Windows Mobile smartphones. He led the creation of Palm’s initial wireless-device roadmap and was responsible for the product definition of the company’s first worldwide wireless handheld. In his career, he has launched products with more than 40 carriers across five continents, and has had extensive experience with international markets, managing products for Europe, Latin America, Asia and Canada.
Stéphane received his bachelor of arts degree in international relations and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
