From the moment you begin your Kellogg MBA, you will have access to many leadership and professional development programs. Offered at key stages throughout your time at Kellogg, these workshops will help you sharpen your leadership skills and develop new ones.

Leadership Core Series
All new Kellogg students participate in the Leadership Core Series, a collection of short academic workshops, discussion and feedback sessions, and leadership self-assessment exercises.

LCS One occurs in your first quarter and anchors your Kellogg experience:

In High Performance Teamwork, you’ll learn about types of high-performing teams, team performance evaluation, the key challenges and threats to effective teamwork, and how to overcome these challenges. In Cross-Cultural Negotiations, you’ll learn to strategies for planning, managing and evaluating negotiations at every turn.

Following LCS One, you’ll learn to transform yourself into a better leader with the 360 Degree Leadership Self-Assessment. In LCS Two, during your second quarter at Kellogg, you’ll receive feedback on your self-assessment and develop your leadership plan.

“While we’ve all worked in teams before, working in teams composed of Kellogg-caliber students was a whole new experience,” says Peter Thiraphoj ’10. “It was invigorating to work with individuals who both intellectually challenged each other and supported each other in reaching the team’s goal.”
