Career Resources

Whether you want to move up within your industry or take your career in a new direction, a Kellogg MBA will give you the tools — and the network — you need to succeed. We work with all students to help with career goal setting, internal career management skills and teaching career transition tactics. Here are some of the career resources available to Kellogg Part-Time Program students.

PROGRAMMING
Kellogg can help you get ready for those important career steps through a number of programs. Taught by career management professionals, you can learn how to create a career path that will take you where you want go professionally. Our programming consists of thematic interactive workshop series as well as on-demand tutorials and tips online. The programs are designed to meet the wide variety of students’ career management needs.

Career Coaching
All Part-Time Program students can take advantage of unlimited one-on-one career coaching. Our career coaches have industry knowledge and coaching experience. We assist students with all aspects of career goal setting in the long and short term; help students sharpen skills to be effective in their current roles; and provide a tool kit, if and when, making a transition. Coaching sessions are customized to the needs of each individual student.

ONLINE RESOURCES
Our career resources website for current students and alumni provides a wealth of strategic information about career development and job searches. Students have access to extensive subscription databases to help when researching companies and preparing for career decisions. A number of interactive tools are also available to students to help make the career management process more streamlined.

Job Listings
The Kellogg Job Board is a password-protected, online job board that consists of jobs that top MBA employers submit to Kellogg. Students can go online and search specific industries, locations or companies and apply directly to jobs that are of interest. The job postings are quite extensive and geared strictly for MBA students and alumni.

EMPLOYER RELATIONS & ON-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT
Kellogg enjoys strong relationships with top MBA employers. In addition to the opportunities from the Kellogg Job Board, students have the opportunity to register and participate in On Campus Recruiting (OCR). To qualify to use OCR, Part-Time Program students must meet eligibility requirements.

ALUMNI CAREER SERVICES
Kellogg alumni have access to extensive career resources free of charge. Countless events on career related topics, and topical webinars are offered regularly. Customized individual career coaching is available, along with the chance to participate in job search groups. Online resources, including access to the Kellogg Job Board are available to Alumni for life.
