The Kellogg Part-Time Program has rolling admissions and each application cycle consists of two rounds.
However, there is not a preference given for Round 1 versus Round 2. We admit candidates based on the quality of the applicant profile, not timing of the application. The Rounds allow the candidate the opportunity to apply early and know of the admission committee's decision.
As you apply to the Kellogg Part-Time MBA Program, please note that all application elements are due by 11:59 p.m. CST for the deadline date to which you are submitting. The application elements include:

Submitting your application
The Part-Time MBA Program accepts applications up to one year in advance of the candidate's desired start (for example, applicants may apply during Fall 2009 for any quarter up to Fall 2010). We will read all completed applications as they arrive in our office, make admissions decisions, and inform candidates of the committee's decisions approximately two to six weeks after we receive the application.
This allows you the opportunity to complete an application and know of the admissions committee’s decision in advance. Our rolling admission process does not mean that your chances of admittance are affected by when you submit an application. We encourage candidates to submit applications when they are complete. Chances of acceptance do not decrease as the deadline approaches, and you have the same opportunity for admittance if the application is submitted on the deadline or months in advance of the deadline.
