Kellogg Part-Time MBA Program

Part-Time MBA Flexibility
Attend on weeknights or Saturdays. Major in one subject or many. Complete the program in 2.5 years or five—or anything in between. Among dozens of courses in 20 fields of study, you’ll find what you need to excel in your career or launch a brand-new one.

Part-Time MBA students at Kellogg choose from the evening option or the Saturday option. Here’s a guide to help you choose the right program for you.

The Evening MBA Program

  • Ideal if you live in the Chicago area (including areas of Wisconsin and Indiana)
  • You may start classes in any quarter
  • You’ll take one or two courses per quarter
  • Classes meet on weekday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Most complete the program in two-and-a-half to five years
  • You may take courses offered on Saturdays
  • You may choose from a variety of majors

The Saturday MBA Program

  • Ideal if you travel extensively during the week or live outside the Chicago area
  • Classes start in June
  • You’ll take two courses per quarter
  • Classes meet on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Students complete the program as a cohort, and most finish within three years
  • A variety of Saturday Program majors are available
  • You may take evening classes that are not included in the Saturday program course structure, leading to additional options for majors

All students may:

  • Take quarters off from school for personal or professional reasons
  • Transfer up to four recent MBA courses into the program (pending approval of the dean)
  • Complete their last four classes with another MBA program after approval by the dean (if relocated), while still earning the MBA from the Kellogg School of Management
  • Take any class offered in the evening or on Saturday, or even switch from one program to the other
