Why I chose the MMM Program at Kellogg

posted: 05-21-09

The MMM program is a dual degree program where I’ll earn both my MBA from Kellogg and an MEM (Masters of Engineering Management) from the McCormick School of Engineering. I was interested in the MMM program because of my background and interest in health care. The health care industry will continually need leaders who understand how to design products and operations processes with patients and profit in mind. The MMM program gives me the analytical tools to manage those design processes and improve operations.

I chose Kellogg for three reasons: (1) Kellogg provides me with a wide variety of opportunities to hone my leadership skills, both in the classroom in my MORS (Management & Organization) classes, and in practice through team-based experiential learning. (2) Kellogg offers great courses, taught by great professors, in the areas of strategy, managerial economics, health care, and marketing that I’m interested in digging deeper into. Finally, (3) the people here at Kellogg from the administration to my classmates are a lot of fun!
