My summer internship

posted: 05-21-09

This summer I will be working as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in Madrid, Spain.

When thinking about developing my career I always have in mind that my long term goal is to join the business that my family has in Spain. My future goal is to lead the company with the purpose of expand its business into other countries in Europe.

In this context, I knew that the best way to prepare myself for the future was to work in an environment where I could be exposed to different industries and challenging tasks, in a way that contributed to develop my business knowledge as well as my managerial and leadership skills.

I strongly believe that McKinsey fosters the most challenging and enriching environment to become a successful business leader, through the nature of their work, the high exposure to top management in the most significant world firms, and the unparalleled quality of its team, which probably fosters one of the most powerful mindsets in the business world.
