Defining the culture of Kellogg

posted: 05-22-09

Most people would probably start by describing Kellogg as “student led” and, for the most part, I would enthusiastically agree. But for me, Kellogg’s culture is defined by the strength of the bonds that we share as students.

Last night, my fellow DAK co-chair got a little choked up as she thanked our executive team at our end-of-the-year celebration. For her, as for me, our time with our DAK team was more meaningful than I would’ve ever imagined when I interviewed for the position. Why? Because we trusted each other right away and, by the end, we had become close friends. That might be the way teams form and function at other business schools but I can’t imagine more fitting way to exemplify the core of Kellogg’s culture.
