Collaborative Research

Collaborative research is at the heart of the academic community at the Kellogg School of Management and Northwestern University. Research cannot be conducted in a vacuum; it needs to be nurtured and shared.

At Kellogg, we strongly believe in an interdisciplinary approach to PhD study. Our approach directly engages our students with the many disciplines found on Northwestern's campus including communication studies, economics, engineering, law, psychology, sociology and much more. Through engagement with these various disciplines, doctoral students expand the scope of their training. We believe that this approach helps magnify our students' insights and perspectives as they are exposed to new ideas and avenues of research.

Two research communities at Northwestern University that exemplify the cross-training that Kellogg doctoral students receive are in economic theory and social psychology. We hope you will consider joining our community of scholars.
