Doctoral Program
The Kellogg School of Management, established in 1908 as Northwestern University's School of Commerce, is an educational leader and innovator. The school awarded its first doctoral degrees in 1927.

Our doctoral program is founded on intellectual rigor, the desire to develop useful frameworks and insights for the business environment, and a culture of collaboration.

There are currently 115 doctoral students enrolled at Kellogg. Our students have access to 145 research faculty across our seven doctoral programs. There are 22 research centers that support collaborative research among faculty members and graduate students in various disciplines, both within Kellogg and throughout Northwestern University. The Kellogg School’s Research Support Group offers consultative services in statistical and experimental methods, as well as training in statistical and mathematical applications, and the use of business research datasets.

Thank you for your interest in Kellogg. We invite you to explore our doctoral programs and research resources, and we look forward to working with you as you begin your doctoral studies.
