  • A Brazilian citizen, Carlos received his degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro before earning an MBA from Stanford University.
  • Carlos served as the CEO of Ambev, the largest brewing company in Latin America, before it merged with Interbrew and Anheuser-Busch to become Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2008.

Carlos Brito is the chief executive officer of Anheuser-Busch InBev. He is a Brazilian citizen and received a degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from Stanford University. Carlos held positions at Shell Oil and Daimler-Benz prior to joining Ambev in 1989. At Ambev, he had roles in finance, operations and sales before he was appointed chief executive officer in January 2004. Carlos was appointed zone president North America at InBev in January 2005 and chief executive officer in December 2005. He is also a member of the board of directors at Ambev.

  • Mallika’s writing and work have been featured in many publications including Time.com, Self magazine, Women’s Health magazine, Prevention magazine, OWN, Glamour magazine, Oprah.com, Mind Body Green, Los Angeles Times, and The Huffington Post. She currently is featured in Time magazine’s special issue on mindfulness.
  • She has also served as a health ambassador for the Pepsi Refresh Project in the U.S., – an initiative that gave millions of dollars to individuals, non-profits and companies for projects in their communities.
  • Mallika was instrumental in the launch of Michael Jackson’s Heal the World Foundation.

Mallika Chopra is a media entrepreneur, published author, public speaker and a mom. Her most recent book, “Living with Intent: My Somewhat Messy Journey to Purpose, Peace and Joy,” was published in April 2015.

Mallika’s varied background includes launching the Heal the World Foundation with Michael Jackson and helping with the relaunch of MTV in India. She has taught meditation to thousands of people and enjoys speaking to audiences around the world. Mallika has also shared ideas on balance and purpose at companies such as Coca-Cola, Disney, LinkedIn and Google as well as at various TEDx events.

She has a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, and is currently pursuing a master’s in psychology with a mind body spirit concentration at Teachers College, Columbia University.

  • Marcus has partnered with public schools to bring entrepreneurial training to the classroom in currently underserved communities.
  • As a partner at Deloitte Consulting, Marcus examined the threats and opportunities associated with technological innovation.

Marcus Shingles is the chief executive officer of the XPRIZE Foundation, the global leader in designing and implementing innovative competition models to solve the world’s grandest challenges. Marcus has more than 20 years of experience and, prior to XPRIZE, was a partner at Deloitte Consulting LLP, where he worked with corporate executive teams to understand and plan for the opportunities and threats associated with disruptive technological innovation.

In his spare time, Marcus has partnered with the public school systems in Los Angeles and Boston to bring “exponential entrepreneurial” training and contemporary thinking to high school students in currently underserved communities. The program is part of a multiyear curriculum in the classroom, designed to teach self-sufficiency and prepare students for an optimistic and exponential future.
