J.A. Adande is the director of sports journalism and associate professor at Medill. Adande was a columnist for ESPN.com for nine years covering the NBA as well as a sideline reporter for NBA games. In addition, he was a panelist for ESPN’s “Around the Horn” for 13 years. During his career, Adande has covered the Olympic Games, Wimbledon, the Super Bowl, the NCAA Final Four, the college football national championships, the NBA Finals, the Masters Golf Tournament and soccer World Cup.

Quentin Carter Vice President, Studio Production, Big Ten Network

Emmy Award-winning producer Quentin Carter has been with BTN since its launch in 2007. As the vice president of studio production, Carter is responsible for overseeing all studio operations, including the creation of new programming, development of on-air talent and execution and increase in studio shows. He also oversaw the implementation of studio automation at BTN, which greatly increased the efficiency of studio production, as well as the successful launch of BTN Tailgate, the network’s college football pregame show. He previously served as the coordinating producer at MSG Network, where he managed programming and content development for various outlets, most notably “Talk of Our Town,” “SportsDesk” and NKY Way.

T.K. Gore has spent the last 23 years working in digital and sports media space. He is a believer in paying it forward, mentoring and teaching. Gore is senior director of digital at NBC Sports Chicago, a part of NBC Sports Group. He has previously held positions at the startup Universal Sports, AOL and Home Team Sports. In addition, Gore serves as an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University and sits on the board of directors of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club Foundation.
