    Kellogg School History: 2008 to Current
    2008: Kellogg celebrates 100 years of excellence
    Kellogg honored its role in defining the management education landscape with a series of academic and social events around the globe.

    2008: Kellogg Insight, online research digest, launches
    The publication showcases key research findings by Kellogg professors in a sophisticated yet accessible manner, and its articles explore an array of subjects, such as entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, international business, leadership, marketing and policy.

    Recanati2009: Sunil Chopra named interim dean
    Sunil Chopra, who joined Kellogg in 1989, is also the IBM Distinguished Professor of Operations Management at Kellogg. His appointment as interim dean began Sept. 1, 2009, and concluded July 15, 2010. During his tenure, Chopra focused on making the “wise strategic investments that support [the school’s] core values,” including its innovative curriculum.

    2009: HEMA program launches
    Health Enterprise Management Program coordinates and promotes groundbreaking education, research and outreach in both the services and products side of the health sector..

    Sally Blount named dean2010: Sally Blount named new dean
    Sally Blount, previously the dean of the undergraduate college and vice dean of the Stern School of Business at New York University, is named dean of the Kellogg School of Management. An internationally recognized scholar in the fields of negotiation and behavioral decision-making, Blount assumed her Kellogg role on July 15. Dean Blount earned her doctoral degree in management and organizations from Kellogg in 1992.
