    The John L. and Helen Kellogg Foundation donates $10 million to the school. In recognition of the gift, the Graduate School of Management is renamed the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

    The John L. and Helen Kellogg Foundation donates $10 million to the school. In recognition of the gift, the Graduate School of Management is renamed the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. The funds support a number of initiatives that strengthen the school’s teaching, research, facilities and student life.

    1979: A Model Center
    The James L. Allen Center opens. Named after the co-founder of Booz Allen Hamilton and a chief fundraiser for the school, the state-of-the-art facility is home to the first executive MBA program of its kind—a program that will be widely emulated by peer institutions worldwide.

    Students1985: At the Top
    The Wall Street Journal names Kellogg the top business school in the United States.
    The Kellogg School’s emphasis on teamwork and innovative in the curriculum garner national attention from other media sources as well.
