Travel and Experience
In the curriculum
Kellogg offers many courses that are experiential by nature.
Students engage in projects in the areas of social innovation, sustainability, international development, public health, impact investing and more. These classes often include a travel component, bringing students to see and contribute to the work of social impact on the ground and in person.
Beyond the curriculum
Outside of the curriculum and classroom, Kellogg students step into impact experiences by engaging in pro bono consulting projects both locally and internationally, business plan development, impact investing and case competitions.
“Treks” allow students to explore career opportunities in the impact space on the east and west coasts, and more. Kellogg students love to travel to learn, experience and make a difference.Learn more about student-driven club experiences.
I was fortunate enough to travel with a group of students to Douentza, Mali, to conduct a project gap analysis with our NEF counterparts, seeing in person where our research fell short and where our public health interventions could have a lasting, powerful impact.
