There are two main research seminars in theory. One is a weekly seminar of outside speakers
(scroll to the bottom for the archive) and the other is a weekly seminar of local speakers
In addition, there is a weekly seminar in applied microeconomics
, which includes some theory seminars, a weekly seminar in formal political models
(with a mostly theoretical orientation), and a theory seminar series operated by EECS
The Finance Seminar Series and bag lunches also include both theory and non-theory seminars (theory papers of outside speakers in 2009-10 included work by Roland Benabou, Emmanuel Farhi and Jean Tirole, Simon Gervais, and Douglas Diamond). The Strategy Seminar Series often includes theory presentations.
A complete list of seminars can be found through the Economics Department
and the Kellogg School of Management
