Albert Isenman is the Director of Custom Executive Education Programs and a professor of Management and Strategy. Before joining the Kellogg School in 1988, he was on the faculty of the University of Toronto, where he served as academic director of the Executive MBA Program. He was a visiting professor at Kellogg from 1981 to 1984 and at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, from 1985 to 1987. Prior to his career in academia, he was a manager in the health care field.
Professor Isenman’s research centers on general management, strategy formulation, corporate social performance and business ethics. He teaches these subjects in the Kellogg day and evening MBA programs, as well as in the Executive Master’s Program, which named him Outstanding Professor in 1993.
Professor Isenman has directed executive programs for organizations such as Brunswick, the Federal Aviation Administration, Zurich Insurance Group, SquareD, Rhone Poulenc Rorer, Johnson and Johnson, and the American Advertising Federation.
Professor Isenman has authored a variety of articles and is a member of the Academy of Management and Beta Gamma Sigma.

Operating Strategies for the General Manager (MGMTX-430-0) Operating Strategies for the General Manager explores economic principles of business strategy and develops an analytic framework for identifying and evaluating alternative strategies.
Capstone (MGMTX-470-0) Capstone Course brings together disciplines students have encountered in the Kellogg Executive MBA Programs. Students develop an integrated understanding of business planning and strategy, using a computer-based management simulation (Capstone®Business Simulation) to plan and test strategies in a competitive environment.
