The 2012 Kellogg Real Estate Conference, “Searching for Yield: Dealmaking in Opportunistic Times”
UPDATE from the Director of the Real Estate Program
Therese McGuire

Welcome to the Kellogg
Real Return

We at Kellogg are fortunate to have a vibrant real estate community in which faculty, students, and alumni participate. The community has a lot of moving parts. Our real estate professors, many of whom are practitioners, bring both classical theory and the current market into the classroom. Students benefit from an array of real estate courses dealing with finance, law, market analysis, development and sustainability. Kellogg students are also heavily involved outside of the classroom, with activities such as running the annual Real Estate Conference and participating in case competitions. And we are proud of our alumni, who are professionals in all aspects of global real estate. They are active partners with Kellogg, involved in most aspects of the program.

Coordinating all of this activity is the Guthrie Real Estate Center, an umbrella organization promoting research, interactions with real estate companies, and co-curricular activities, such as the annual Real Estate Conference.

The goal of this newsletter is to keep you informed about the variety of real estate activities, research, and events at Kellogg. We hope you will enjoy the articles and timely updates.
