Building Vision

People come together by purpose and by chance. Momentum gathers. We learn the power of our own ideas as we see the life they take on in others.

Welcome to envision/embody.

How can Kellogg’s new home strengthen and transform our community? In February and March, we sent a team of three Kellogg students, three consultants from Booz & Co. and a graphic design firm into the community to find out.

The team talked with students, faculty, administrators and alumni about what and who Kellogg is and how the new building might help build and challenge our community in new ways.

Then we asked the team to present the results.

THE CONCEPT BOOK
The book showcases the possibilities we’ve explored so far. We envision a learning space that will bring to life the school’s tremendous legacy and our aspirations for what Kellogg can become.

A DYNAMIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
How can we make our new space into a one-of-a kind, dynamic learning environment? Many great ideas have already come to light. Our community wants to:

  • Move creative teamwork out from behind closed doors and into more open, collaborative spaces.
  • Create places for spontaneous interaction and unexpected nooks that foster face-to-face discussions.
  • Take advantage of lakefront views to create spaces that promote quiet self-reflection.

WHAT DO YOU ENVISION?
The conversation is just getting started. Tell us your visions for Kellogg’s new home.
